Prize Announcement

Congratulations to Athabasca University student Sarah Mann, who has been awarded the WGST Barbara Roberts Memorial Prize for 2011/11, for her essay, "Fucking media: sex worker representation and resistance in digital culture."

This paper was written for the course, English 491: Directed Studies in Literature, supervised by Dr. Mark McCutcheon. Ms. Mann will receive a certificate and cash award of $250. The paper is currently under review for publication, and the abstract is available at Barbara Roberts Memorial Award page.
