Programs & Areas of Study

Anthropology

Anthropology, in its broadest sense, is the study of what it is to be human. It differs from other disciplines that study human beings because it is holistic, historic, global, and comparative. AU's program offers courses in all four subdisciplines: archaeology, cultural anthropology, linguistic anthropology, and physical anthropology.
