Overview

Ce cours permettra à l'étudiant(e) de faire une étude comparative du français et de l'anglais. Il/elle fera l'étude des moyens dont on dispose pour passer d'une langue à l'autre, en particulier d'une pensée anglaise à une expression bien française.

This course offers a comparative study of French and English. Its main focus is the translation of English language structures into idiomatic French.

To receive credit for FREN 402, you must achieve a course composite grade of at least “D” (50 percent) and a grade of at least 50 percent on the final examination. The weighting of the course assignments is as follows:
