Overview

To perform any administrative task, a manager must first be able to communicate effectively with others. COMM 243 introduces the techniques of effective communication and encourages students to develop and apply these skills to actual management settings and situations.

Evaluation

To receive credit in COMM 243, you must achieve a composite course grade of at least a “D” (50 percent) and a grade of at least 50 percent on the final examination. You must attempt both assignments and both examinations. The weighting of the composite course grade is as follows:
