Athabasca University Governing Council

Athabasca University operates with a bicameral governance
system. Governing Council members are appointed by the Government
of Alberta. The president of the University is an ex officio
member of the Council. Governing Council membership consists of the
following: one Chairperson, up to ten public members, two academic
staff, two students, one tutor, one non-academic staff member, one
graduate student, and one alumnus.
