For example, AU hosted Moodlemoot 2007 in Edmonton, AB, May 5-7th , Digitel 2008 in Banff, AB, Nov 16-18th, 2008 and Moodlemoot 2009 in Edmonton, AB, April 1-4th, 2009.

Athabasca University recently hosted the Western Vice Presidents' Academic/Vice Presidents' Research (WestVAC/VPR) 2010 event at the Laurel Point Inn in Victoria, BC, March 3-5/10.
