Program Learning Outcomes

As a result of completing this program, students should be able to

  • demonstrate the requisite technical skills and be oriented towards system analysis and design for organizational functions as well as interact more with personnel in the organization.
  • interact more with the software and hardware and relatively less with organizational functions.
  • deal with specific questions, problems and issues.
  • consider information systems strategically and contextually.
  • skilfully use original information systems.
  • practice and convey knowledge of information systems development methodology.
  • show good organization and consistency in expression of ideas.
  • distinguish and/or categorize types of practice.
  • make constructive suggestions for criteria of assessment and recognize situations needing assessment.
  • plan for, and demonstrate an understanding of the role of planning in, short-term and long-term problem-solving and professional development.
