Welcome to the home page for English 591: Cultural Studies—Directed Studies in Literature.

This course is designed to help you explore the general nature of Cultural Studies and to develop a project in one particular topic of this interdisciplinary area. We will help you identify the topic, work out a research program and complete a research paper. From this home page you will be able to initiate some of the online research which may be necessary in your project.
