Canadian Armed Forces/Canadian Forces College

Information for Military Personnel Studying abroad

When a student is a Canadian Diplomat, a member of the Canadian Forces, or a spouse of such, and living abroad while working for a Canadian embassy, consulate, or the Canadian Services, the following rules apply regarding fees:

Canadian diplomats, members of the Canadian Forces, and their spouses who are outside of Canada are assessed the appropriate fee based on the province or territory of their permanent residence. Students who meet this criteria are required to provide documentation to Athabasca University (AU) in the form of an identification card or letter from the appropriate authority (Embassy or Armed Forces Base). Please contact regclerk@athabascau.ca for further information. For a schedule of undergraduate fees, please go to undergraduate programs and fees. For graduate program fees, please refer to the graduate program page for the specific program you are interested in.
