Modern Languages

Yes, you can learn another language through distance education.

Learning another language opens cultural, educational, business, and scientific opportunities. Because of economic integration and the reach of mass media, Canadians have the opportunity to interact daily with people and institutions all over the world. Through language, we gain access to the culturally diverse world and broaden our perceptions and understanding of it.

You can take individual language courses in French, German, and Spanish, or work toward a Bachelor of Arts in French (three– or four–year degrees), or a University Certificate in French Language Proficiency.
