Art History
Currently we offer two art history courses that introduce you to the history and development of western visual art.
- ARHI 201: A Survey of Western Art I examines artistic expression from prehistoric times through to the fifteenth century.
- ARHI 202: A Survey of Western Art II begins with the Renaissance and takes you to the present day.
- ARHI 301: Canadian Visual Culture reexamines Canadian art history in light of multidisciplinary meanings of culture.
You will enjoy these courses whether you are taking them to fulfill your degree requirements at AU or another university, for professional reasons, or out of personal interest.
